Installation and Commissioning
The heavy-duty load banks must be properly installed and commissioned before using them for testing. The installation and commissioning of a load bank involves the following:
The
position of a
load bank at its final position after unpacking it.- The
fixing of
load bank using nut/bolts onto its platform
- Placement
of
earthing
- The
wiring of
load bank input terminals with the unit under test.
- The
wiring of
bank Auxiliary terminals with the raw power outlet of the
customer.
- The
wiring of
communication bus between Load Bank, Central console and
User
Terminal if any.
- The
mounting of
Central Console at its desired location.
- Conduct
Auxiliary
supply check activity. This activity involves testing the
continuity
of Auxiliary supply connections.
